I already posted the photo of my first whitetail that I shot this fall in Nebraska....
...but this morning Timmy provided an unexpected surprise. A game cam photo of my deer (unarguably the same animal) from earlier in the year when his rack was still mostly intact....
He was a beautiful animal - as we expected, a solid 10 point - and I am so glad that Timmy was able to find this photo for me. Thanks, buddy!
Yeah, cause calling something a beautiful animal and then shooting him and taking a picture of him sitting in his own blood isn't a contradiction at all.
ReplyDeleteHey, I guess I can see that point from your perspective. It doesn't change the fact that he was a beautiful animal though.
ReplyDeleteRudolph the red-nosed reindeer...had a very shiny nose!
ReplyDeleteEVERYBODY NOW!
And if you ever saw him, you would even say it gl-BAAAAAANG!!!!!!
Poor Rudolph. Santa also had to make a few layoffs this year. :P
I cannot take all the credit. Mikey found the pic and it was his trail camera that took the shot. Also, there is no way of telling if it is his own blood. There were several animals in there around that time.
ReplyDeleteOdd how the salience of the alleged hematologic ownership of the blood on the floor escapes me.....
ReplyDeleteRead: I would be fin altering my last line (supra) to "and taking a picture of him in blood..."
My point on the contradiction remains unchanged. If anything, it is more strongly asserted.
