In the past few days Sarah has tried diligently to capture most of Campbell's funny things on tape. She succeeded in getting about half of them and not always his best version but I pulled together what we have into montage of his quirks. We were frustrated not to capture him saying "cool" which sounds more like "keeeeewl" when he says it, but maybe on a later video. Hope you find these almost as funny as we do.
I also wanted to add a picture of him wearing his mandatory (according to all Ukrainians) cold weather tights. They're a cozy mix of thick wool socks and pantyhose and make him look fabulous. In this shot he's helping wash dishes which in not nearly as helpful as one would hope.
I love the video!! I met an eastern european mom once at church who was talking about how she couldn't find tights in the U.S.for her baby boy and I thought she was a crazy person. Now I understand!! :)
ReplyDeleteSo cute! And so funny! Campbell had me laughing along with him!
ReplyDeleteI could just eat him up he's so adorable. I can't believe how much he's changed and grown in only a month. Miss y'all so much!! Love, Kate :)
ReplyDeleteTwo things: 1. Mini-Matt. Quite funny! 2. That's his diaper, right!? :)
ReplyDeletefyi - fake laugh in child invokes real laugh in grown-ups.
ReplyDeleteI'm you guys enjoyed that as much as we do. When he's in a good mood, he's a laugh-a-minute.
ReplyDeleteAnd Jenn, to answer your question... yes, that is his diaper.
Make sure he knows that the picture of him in tights while washing dishes will come back to haunt him....likely when he is trying to impress a girl.....
ReplyDeleteThere is really not much point in taking candid pictures of your children other than to hold it over their heads later.
ReplyDeleteTammi took the words right out of my mouth. A boy...in tights...washing dishes...
ReplyDeleteDon't worry, I'll still love you guys even if he turns out to be a professional figure skater. :) (not that there's anything wrong with that). :)
p.s. so you know I'm joking, I used to wear my sister's tights underneath my jeans growing up when we'd go sledding to keep warm. Verrrry nice. I think I turned out ok, but the jury is still out (as many of your previous posters probably would attest to).
Yeah I think you turned out alright...of course you do have strangely good taste in clothes and shapely, nearly hairless legs...not that there's anything wrong with that:)
ReplyDeleteLOL...Scandinavian hairless...
ReplyDeleteFor the record, a child that size will not grow up to be a figure skater. He must learn to throw left handed, and sports will accomodate him accordingly. It is the law.
ReplyDeleteWhy does he need to be able to throw left-handed to play soccer?
ReplyDeleteHey guys! I just found your blog and i miss you so much! We need to talk sometime! Campbell is sooo big now! oh I remember when you 2 were still dating! I am excited to see where God has you now :) i love you!!! sooooo much!
