Yaaayyy!!! What does Cam find so funny?
ReplyDeleteWoo-hoo!!! Campbell looks like he's overcome with emotion that you got your Mac back too. :)
ReplyDeleteYahoo! Hooray! Have a wonderful visit with your parents! I know it will be great. miss you all!-Rach and Adam (Addison too!)
ReplyDeleteGood to see you're back online and with an English keyboard no less.
ReplyDeleteStephanie says "Let's skype them." And I say: It's way too early there.
Great picture of the reunion. It's not like you're the prodigal son, but it looks like that kind of party.
Actually, I have no idea what Cam was doing in this picture. It looks like either the sign language for "thank you" or he's blowing a kiss...neither of which make much sense. I was trying to have him say "cheese" but maybe he got confused.
ReplyDeletewell, the kid is practically tri-lingual, so I guess we can't bust on him for getting a little unsorted, right?
ReplyDeleteLove you guys!!
Better yet, he is YOUR kid right...confusion and being a little unsorted probably come pretty naturally...nuf said.....great to see the that mom and dad gaw made it....must be kind of a neat time.
ReplyDeleteOur best to all

1,000,000 Ukrainians in the United States
Below - interesting statistics on where you might find Ukrainian
expats here in the USA. RPCVs from Ukraine may find this useful for finding positions using their knowledges and skills acquired in
Ukraine. (I own a home near Greenville, SC - huge increases there!)
Almost 30% of these speak Ukrainian or Russian at home (recent immigrants) and slightly more Ukrainians in US speak Russian at home than Ukrainian. (!) Presumably 70% speak English at home.
Ukrainians are flooding into South Carolina and North Carolina,
Idaho, Iowa and West Virginia. And leaving Kansas, Nebraska, Rhode
Island, Utah and Vermont. The New York population is stable. In
Philadelphia, Ukrainians are the number three ethnic group, after
Chinese and Vietnamese!
Binghamton, NY, has a population of about 3,600 Ukrainians, with a
3% increase over the last 5 years. (Syracuse, NY has 12,000.) There
are now more Ukrainians in Charlotte, NC (5,000) than in Binghamton, because the Charlotte Ukrainian population increased 90% over the past 5 years.
The biggest increases in Ukrainian population in the past 5 years
have been in the following cities:
City: Percentage Increase:
Ocala,FL 297.8%
Greenville-Spartanburg-Anderson SC 289.3%
Des Moines, IA 221.5%
Boise City, ID 171.5%
Richland-Kennewick-Pasco, WA 147.9%
Charleston-N.Charleston,SC 118.5%
Punta Gorda, FL 103.0%
Sarasota, FL 100.1%
Tacoma, WA 96.0%
Charlotte-Gastonia-Rock Hill, NC-SC 90.2%
Jacksonville, FL &n Informed Decisions, Inc., is pleased to
offer to the Ukrainian community in the United States, as well as
the general public, some basic statistics on persons of Ukrainian
ancestry living in the U.S.
